Landscape Photographer of the Year 2020
I began my photography journey in the nineties, documenting the Kosova war with nothing more than a deep passion and a cheap camera. This led to a career in the news industry, working with major broadcasters worldwide. In 2016, I documented the ISIS-Kurdish conflict in Northern Iraq, reigniting my desire to be on the front lines. In 2020, I was honoured as the Landscape Photographer of the Year UK for my image “Silent Covid Morning.” Lately, my work has evolved into a more abstract and experimental form, capturing the essence of fading memories. My journey in photography continues to evolve, one step at a time.
